Continuing With Our Reading, MA Theme

This photo is labeled "Mr. Pierpoint Reading, MA".
The 1900 census has a William Pierpont in Reading, MA.  He was born in June of 1877 in Maine - so could have been a neighbor of the Wanings or Halls.
By the 1920 census (still in Reading) he is married with four children and is the Driver of a Grocery Cart...making deliveries I assume.

  1. Beth, this post might be redundant. If so, I very much apologize. I ran across this photo tonight when I got home from work. The only way to contact you through this site was to sign up as a "Google Blogger" ? I've never blogged and I'm still not quite sure I've done this correctly. What I wanted to say to you is that this is a Picture of my Great Grandfather William Pike Pierpont. I have never seen a picture of him as a young man. At 53, I very much resemble him when he was older, but to see the similarities when we were both in our twenties, amazing. Your decision to post this photo 4 yrs ago has made for a very happy man. If possible Beth, I would love to have a copy of this photo if you wouldn't mind. I will send you what ever you need to have it done. Again, thank you. Bruce Stuart.
