Mary and Charles H. Waning

Charles H. Waning was born in November of 1850, the 8th child of Jacob Waning and Lucinda Tozier. He married Mary A. Berry about 1870, and the couple had five children: Fred (1874), Harry (1876), Linnie (1879), John (1881), and Manley (1886). Charles started his work-life as a farm laborer (1880 census), and by the 1900 census was listed as a farmer.
This branch of the Waning family maintained contact with Willard Lowe Waning. We have postcards, letters, and photos from Charles and his son John. Charles was Willard's uncle, and John a 1st cousin.
