Today Lex and I travelled up to Portland to help stimulate the economy. We began the morning at the Ikea store. We were last there about a year ago, and wow, has the area changed. There has been so much retail development - unbelievable! Lex and I each bought a chair for our computer stations as well as vases, blankets, glasses, bowls, and cat toys!
Next we travelled to Bridgeport Village - I refer to it as a shopping center for adults (rather than a mall for teenagers)! Love that place! We hit Crate and Barrel, Mrs. Field's, Anthropologie, Oblation, and my favorite - the Container Store. By that time Sonja (Mom's Volvo station wagon) was full to the brim and it was time to return home to Eugene.
